Rudy began his career as art director, and later Creative Director, at Chicago’s Grant Jacoby. There, he built brands for Head Tennis, Wilson Golf, Roto-Rooter Plumbing, Aldi Foods, and Culligan Water. Seeking ever-greater challenges, Rudy became an owner and the Chief Creative Officer of Neiman Group. He grew the agency from $7 million to $58 million in only seven years, while honing his skill for creating enduring brand personalities. Rudy’s intelligent strategy ensured a successful future for companies like Sheetz Convenience Stores, Capital BlueCross, PA Department of Health, and Penske Trucking. This, and other work, earned him One Show, New York Festivals, and National ADDYs, and led to his appointment to the American Association of Advertising Agencies’ Creative Committee. In 2006 Rudy co-founded Tattoo Projects with Buffy McCoy Kelly.
