Charlotte creative studio named agency of record for bike brand.

Victory Motorcycles, the second-largest heavyweight motorcycle brand in the USA, whose models include the top-selling Cross Country bagger line and the Highball, have named North Carolina based Tattoo Projects as agency of record for 2014.

The maverick advertising agency, who prides themselves on creating daring campaigns that leave indelible impressions, won the business without a review.

As agency of record, Tattoo Projects will handle all brand communications — from broadcast to print, out-of-home, point of sale, events and dealer communications strategies and deliverables.
Brian Kirkendall, marketing director, Victory Motorcycles, says: “We wanted a true partner to work with and develop a deep understanding of the Victory Motorcycles brand. We chose Tattoo Projects because they are a bold and energetic consumer focused team that delivers great creative and drives sales.”

Rudy Banny, co-founder and co-creative director, Tattoo Projects, adds: “We have our sights set on helping to further define the brand and establish it as an American icon in the motorcycling world.”

Rudy Banny and Buffy McCoy Kelly will head up the account on behalf of Tattoo Projects. The contract is part of a complete brand exercise from Victory, in a bid to increase market share.
